Caltracs

I got my Caltracs the other day. I was gonna install them but there are no directions. I figures out how the got together I think. There are also two metal shims about 1/8" thick that came with them along with new u bolts. Can any one here with them post a picture of theirs so I got something to go off of?? Thanks in advance.

You also have to grind the front of the leaf springs, so all the leafs are the same width.

If it's not too much trouble, could you give me some more information on this please? I have the Caltracs installed and didn't need to do this. I am having a problem with the spacing between the top of the leaf spring and the bolt that runs across it. It's not equal on both sides of the truck, although the bars are backed all the way off. Thanks.

One of the leafs I think it is the lower one is about 1/8 of a inch wider than the other on each side. You take a grinder and grind it so both are the same width. This allows the front bracket to move freely, when the suspension moves.

I hope that helps

ICULOKN, thanks for the pics. I have one more question. Will they even work with a Belltech spring hanger on the front of the rear leaf spring?? I hope they will.
