What do you guys think I could get on trade for a 2000 red L with 17,000 miles on it. Thinking of trading for a 4x4 ranger or something just tired of dealing with daily driveing the L in winter and up and down my gravel road.

 

23-25k?? It really depends on your area. I bought my 2000 with 10,000 miles on it for 26,000 (it bluebooked at 27,000), but a buddy of mine got the same year with only 1500 miles on it for only 21k!!!

Personally, I think you would be better to sell it privately, you would probably get more money for it.

 

I would but It takes so long to sell it on your own and Im not sure what kind of time frame I have.

 

I've been trying to sell my '02 L for a month or so. Carmax gave me an offer of $23K and the guy even said that they would probably sell it for $27-28K. Mine is an '02 w/ 13K miles just to give you an idea. You always get screwed at trade in time.

 

I got 24k for my 01 with 22,000 miles.
