Honestly, it seems that girls around here could care less about this sort of stuff.
One will come along one of these days... hopefully in the tri-state area since i'm locked into my job here for another 2.5 years.

The lightning USED to get me more @$$ than a toilet seat...... but I got my Girl now and she damn near drives the truck more than me...... LOL askin me If i can throw the 20s back on when she drives it LOL!!

I've got my girl all into the L now. Before she didnt drive (still has her permit, don't ask). But I've been letting her drive the L latley, and now she's all about it.

I'm going to get some pics tonight (hopefully) of her with it, god it's so hot to see her drive it

 

I actually bought my truck from a sweet little blonde georgia peach. She was cute and that accent just about kills me. She drove the L down to meet me half way with her BF driving her other car (99 or 00 Saleen with S-trim) She told me she bought the L as a Graduation present for herself after college. My buddy who came with me fell in love instantly ... my gf loves my truck though, she even likes the track thats a big + in my book...and she says she doesnt even mind the street racing what so ever.

You have to admit though, you get a lot more looks and girls smiling and waving at you then you ever have.

 

Yes, that is so true. I used to drive a '74 GTO and I thought that got lots of attention, but nothing like the L. Thats one thing my girl doesn't like about it. Once we were driving to the beach and (I **** you not) a car full of HOT girls my age pulled up next to us in traffic in a Roush mustang. They kept looking over at the truck trying to get my attention, but every time I tried to roll down the passenger side window my gf rolled it back up! I've never seen so many beautiful girls in a hot car at once. Anyway, i got in trouble for that.

 

I don't know, I went out with a hottie last summer down here in Atlanta, and when I drove up she knew exactly what it was.
I remember her saying"Cool, a Lightning!, Those are faster than Corvettes aren't they?"

 

you all have the luck in finding these girls. the last few girls i dated could have cared less what it was.

I had dinner with a buddy of mine and these 2 girls one night. (one was his gf and the other I knew from HS a few years back)
I drove and when we came in and sat down they were talking about seeing a bad *** Lightning drive by. (not knowing it was mine, my windows are very dark) It was funny how they were asking me all about it once I told them it was mine, they both went outside after we ate and sat in it and walked around it just looking a bunch of times. Im sure my buddy didnt apreciate my stealing the attention but what can ya do. I tell him he needs to ditch his '89 probe but he just doesnt get it I guess.

As for riding with my gf and seeing other girls wave..hasnt happend yet...but she is cool and would probably wave back at them herself

My girl drives/races an 01 GT 5 speed! She knows a bit about Ford's (mainly stangs). She put her UPR shifter in her car without my help! (I was impressed) She drives my truck around all the time and tells me she could get more guys in my L than when she drives her GT... "if I wanted to". Whats up with that?!
