I love it when I see hot women drive hot cars (and trucks)! I let my girlfriend drive mine all the time, I love the reaction other guys get when they see her in it. Too bad for them, when the day is over, they both come home to me

You can get info on meets and what not at the site discussed and also visit the Florida Chapter at www.fordtruckworld.com

We have a meet this Friday at Towers Shoppes (Dec 6) around 7:30 - 8:00 pm. To get there take I-95 to 595 WEST. Then get off on University and take that South. At the 3rd light turn left and you should see a bunch of cars. We will be at the far end.

Also...We meet every second tuesday (Dec 10) of every month at Maroone Ford of Margate. We talk and eat and look at eachothers trucks. I haven't gone yet...but will be there next Tuesday.

We are also having a Holiday Party most likely on Jan. 18th but that date is not official yet. Just browse the Florida Chapter on FTW and you will be able to get more info.

For us the Ronnie Setzer (or however the hell you spell it) show is the most frequent and best I think. They have everything from twin blown Vipers to a couple ricers even. Usually some lightning people will show up in some kind of group. Its a good show and we're like the only "trucks" that get any attention. You'll like it Im sure, we do every now and again caravan over to Daytona and line'em up on the beach also. Sometimes there are trips down to REM in miami but I havent been yet. Oh, the local shows are off Dale Mabry and Fletcher I think it was. Someone correct me if Im wrong.

Nice truck ! The "other site" often has local get togethers, dyno days, car shows, caravans...... bla bla bla. We've all been there and done it before when it comes to getting work done on the truck or performance parts.

PS.... The only bad thing about meeting other L owner's is getting the bug to buy things for your own truck. ( Geez, well he has it, it looks real cool, looks some much better, I just have to have it)

Yup,

Some stuff happens in St. Pete. (dyno day), other stuff we caravan to. I know there is an up coming big meet in Orlando area in January. Last time we had 33 Lightnings in Old Towne (orlando area).




oh, and there are always guys at the track (just about every week), and some casual meetings for what they call "beer practice". You just need to go and post and say lets get together, new L owner here.

Suspension is done and I'm happy. I just need an aligment. The big "400" ? Not sure, haven't been back on the dyno yet, soon though. I'd almost put money on it though. I was at 391 before and I've done a few things since.

 

Im going to get my shocks installed soon and put some cambers on when they do the alignment. So what did you end up with front/back that satisfied you? Where did you have your dynos done? Race Related? I wanted to get a print out before I do the 4#er and have my chip re-burned. Let me know if you wanna go down there some time.
