Hey i am thinking about getting a chip and was looking at PSP's and saw the four way chip and it dident have any info on it so i will ask yall do yall think it is a good chip I'm also going to get their air filter my truck is stock now.
here are the programs i wonted
1. stock
2. street perfomance
3. race gas
4. good gas milage
and what settings shoud i tell them?

Sal can program your chip just about anyway you want.

I have the Following. Cold Weather/Hot Weather/Race/Economy

It works well and makes life alot easier!!

I can get almost 18mpg on my economy program with a tons of mods...

Main thing he will need is what you want, and all of your mod info.

also how do you chang it do you have to dissconnect the negutive battery or just turn off the moter?

Have one position burned for a valet mode. Set it up so truck only goes about 30 mph or so. Keeps parking lot jockeys and anyone else who drives your truck, from making a demo run. Skip

 

Some say you can do it on the fly, I turn the truck off, flip programs and restart....

 

this is my plan once i get enough money together. god i hate being broke

 

yep some also have a theft deterrant program....just for added safety...

i would personally get:

warm weather street
cold weather street
race (more timing, revised fuel tables, for warmer weather only)
theft...
