Did you use universal brackets or did you get application specific brackets?
I'm looking at some Corbeau or Sparco racing seats and was wondering about brackets.

The seats are from a Dodge Viper. I used factory Ford captains chair brackets. I then made a plate out of 6061 aluminum and bolted it to the factory bracket. The Viper seats are then mounted to the plate. The seats are manual, they move forward and back on the Viper rails. The console is from a 2000-up Expy. Cost is a tough to put a finger on. The seats I bought on line new in the box. Plates I made, and the console was used. I sold my stock seats for enough that it covered all my costs and put a few bucks in my pocket. I have had them in for about a year now and have no regrets. Would do it again in a minute. Next evelution will be a little different seat. Power seats and heated both sides.
