ok, in the past week i saw 4 expeditions with wheels that looked exactly like the 03, lightning, except they were not as wide. Maybe they liked the look and svt wanted to adapt them into the lightnings. I thought they looked good on the expy, didn't care for the pictures when i first saw them .

 

I was thinking about what the wheels looked like as well. I came to the conclusion that they are a copy of older pontiac bonneville rims maybe 94-98'ish. I would have to go back and find the year and model, but they look nearly identical if my memory serves me right.

 

Alot of the recent Ford truck rims look very similar. Look at the Explorer and Escape also. They all have the 5 sets of dual spoked rims. I don't like it when they make them all look so similar.

 

i noticed the first time i saw the pictures of the 03's that they looked real similar to my moms 02 explorer

 

I thought they looked like teh Camaro RS rims of old (91)
