Hard cover too heavy?

I have been thinking about getting a hard tonneau cover installed for security & style, but I am a little concerned about how much more weight I will be adding. I do like to spend some time at the track. Has anybody found these to make a difference?

They can easily be removed. At my local track, you will see a slew of them in the pit area.

They are about 125 lbs, at least my Innovations one is.

I got a better 1/4 time with mine on due to the added weight. My track is like an ice rink

I have run 11s seven times and only once with the tonneau on.I am going to Cecil on the 14th and I will try and test this theory out.I will make a run with it off followed up by a run(after cool down) with it on.

Snug-Lid weighs about the same 120lbs +/-. Have not run with mine off yet. Very easy for two people to remove. Much harder by yourself.

Light, good looking (soft tonneau), easy to install/remove= Extang.com if you decide to not go with a hard one.
