1st day in snow

Today is the first day driving the L in the snow.
I have some 16" ford steel wheels with 235/70r 16
tires from Sears. 300 pounds of sand in the bed.
The truck handled very well, with not too much slip. It was about the same as my past f150 trucks. Just have to watch out for the other yahoo's!!
Scott.

STUDS

Depending on how much ice you get in your area, I have found that studs will help out Lightnings considerably. Of course you cant go wrong with a couple of hundred pounds of sand or pea gravel in the bed.

I prefer the F-1's and no weight. Just make sure your loved ones have good insurance on you.
