Pricing didn't look that bad. $280-$420 depending on cast, polished or anodized.

Not that bad of a price.

I prefer the Carbon Fiber ones that had a picture floating around.

Too bad the 4.6 covers have a different bolt pattern.
Won't fit our trucks

Actually Rob they will fit, you just need to get the right ones. 99-up Mustangs comes with both Windsor and Romeo heads. The heads are identical, just the valve cover pattern is different. If they make a Winsor head cover, that's what we need .

I asked about the 5.4 covers before but he wants people to chip in for the molds so he can start making them. It'd be nice if he had the Windsor head covers but I guess he doesn't. Besides, "small occlusions and/or voids" won't be tolerated by your's truly.

Looks like another set of these is in order for Hootersmobile 2...

Have fun

Sal,

I was thinking about those Mustang covers and I have a question.
Do the Windsor style heads have the oil neck on the passanger side or drivers side ???

The Mustang has the fill on the pass side. Our heads are Winsor heads, the same heads used on the GT, and the valve covers are also the same as our trucks. Most 99-up GTs have Winsor heads, way more than cars that got Romeo cast heads, so if someone is making Romeo covers, they are cheating themselves out of lot of sales .

Edit- checking into it a little more, it seems the 99-00s used the same valve cover as us, but in 01 they went to the drivers side, I know on the Bullett and I think most of the GTs.
