Lug Nut Torque?

I need the torque spec for stock L wheel lug nuts. The CD-Rom I have says 100 ftlbs, but doesn't have specific torque for L wheels.

Thanks!

01-03 is 150ft-lbs.
I think 99-00 is different.

12 mm studs torque at 100ftlbs 14mm torque at 140-150 (torque retentive lugs)
i think the 99-00 had 12mm and the 01+ have 14mm studs. i work for discount tire so i virtually have the torque on every car memorized...comes in handy sometimes!

I just use my built in lug nut torque wrench... Turn the "t" type lug nut wrench til tight.....this method's been working just fine for me for over 30 years... ...JR

cobra97snake,

Thank you for the compliment! I have been on this site from the year 2000. I was the first lower a Lightning as low as my Lightning is and I introduced adding the Keypad to drivers side door to this site after I had a Keypad in my 97 Eddie Bauer Expedition.

I have Factory Reproduction 2001 - 2o x 9 inch Chrome rims.

Thanks for clearing that up. I couldn't remember if the 00's had gotten the 14mm stud or not.
