I want to put a Line Lock on my truck. The John Force style burnouts are taking their toll on the back brakes. Anyone have good experience with a specific kit? Easiest to install? Thanks.

Sal (PSP) should be haveing thier Line-Lock kits for sell real soon. It will utilize the Hurst Solinoids, and custom DOT stainless steal lines to connect it all up right.

The line locks are well worth it on these trucks... and for those of us that couldn't wait will attest to it. We were able to pick up a tenth in our 60's at our local 1/8 mile track (which isn't too known for it's best track prep). It was some greaf getting it put on right, but well worth it in the end... Wish Sal had these kits ready when we did ours.

Only down side, you'll be going through slicks like you do F1's (right 99SVT ).

 

Sound like an interesting mod....... How much do these kits normally cost..???

Summit/Jegs sell the Hurst unit for about $105, you also need an addit factory brake line about $15 and i fabbed my own bracket.

 

The Hurst unit sounds like the winner. Any ball-park date when the PSP kits will be ready?
