Kinda did the same thing years ago. ... Did a burn out in reverse and then let off the brake... ...What can I say I did it.. embarresment.................

Oh yeah...in my rush to report our new best times from Atco on saturday, I forgot to report the stupid move of the week. It wasn't DanSS2471, but it was another L down there who shall remain nameless until he comes forward himself.

It was only the second time this guy had been at Atco (the first time was over 10 years ago). He rolled a through the pre-stage beams and just past the staging beams to shut the lights out. So he put it in reverse and staged properly (you all know what's coming now). The lights count down and he launches...in reverse. Luckily there was nobody behind him at the time. I wish I would have got it on tape, but I had just made my pass and I was already on the return road.

Anyway, thought I would share that.

Sorry man, I was out boat shopping all day and haven't been on. At least everybody knows the facts are straight since we told the exact same story.

Paul..when you buy it, you gonna run it at Atco? With the amount of water you have to go through to stage, you should be in the low 11s.

I hear that! I just have to remeber to put the boat in "Forward" and not "Reverse".

 

And don't forget 'hard to starboard' to get to the exit road!!!
