Aluminum 5.4 block

New AutoWeek came today. GT40 update. 9 pre-production prototypes are now up and running. These are the test mules to insure that all systems funtion properly. We will soon benefit from this Supercar.

Ford is releasing an aluminum block version of the 5.4. They will be selling blocks and crate N/A 5.4 4v motors.

"Anyone who is doing Ford performance racing is going to want to get this block," says SVT director John Coletti.

I don't think SHM has anything to do with the new aluminum blocks. For one they don't have the necessary equipment to mass produce the blocks. i would like to have that block in my L though
