I just want to say I'm sorry...

I didn't think cutting anything less than a 2.0 60' time was possible on F1's. Well, now that I had left the Englishtown skating rink and went to Atco, I was under 2.0 all day. My best was a 1.88. New best times. Thanks Mike and Dan for meeting down there. We all had our best times ever today. I have some cool in car cam video, but I can't post it.

Made a half way decent pass on ET Streets for the first time. 1.79, 12.38 @109.92.

I'll let Mike and Dan post their own results. WooHoo!

Thanks Paul and Dan. We had a great time and some killer runs today. I personally had my best time and mph and couldn't be happier with my sled. I agree E-town is horrible for traction and will try not to go there anymore. I'm sticking with Atco (even though it is almost 2 hours away).

Hey boys. Did you get in any more runs before the rain? Hope you didn't get stuck on the Tpke for too long.

Yes, I think we all agreed that Atco was awesome today and E-town is the proverbial 'skating rink' . I'm with Paul and Mike with regards to not thinking it possible to cut sub - 2.xx 60s on F1s. But today changed all that (for all of us!!). I bested my best as well and made it into the 12 second club.

Best 60' was a 1.874. Best 1/8th was a 8.235 @ 87.08. Best ET was a 12.801 @ 108.92. Very cool experience.

I'll catch up with you guys soon.

Dan

p.s. mods are JDM Stage I & II.

You never would have convinced me it could be done until today! I think the track was exceptionally prepared.

Either way..I'm takin' it!!!

Thanks,

Dan

Well, I didn't think it could be done and I thought that some of the other posters in other threads were padding their times a little. Now you are hearing it from the biggest skeptic out there...it can be done.

Dan,

We wound up putting the ET Streets on Mike's truck, but by the time we got back into the lanes, the skies opened up and they called it a day. So he never got to try them and I only got one good pass on them. I wasn't impressed. We took 130 home when we saw the traffic on the TPK on the bridge. Talk to you soon.

Paul

Just forgot to say that I was a serious skeptic about cutting sub-2.00 short times on F1's....Up until today I hadn't done it and was getting a little discouraged about it....I guess it is just difficult to hook-up at E-Town....ATCO RULES....Back to back short times of 1.96/12.505@111.91 and 1.94/12.412@111.99.....Holy moly.....

Throttle Body.....

Andy...

I picked up my throttle body from JDM Engineering....If I remember correctly it was just shy of $500....But price them out, you may find it a little cheaper. I needed one in a hurry, JDM had one, and I only live about 30 minutes from them..I'll pay the extra coin to get what I want when I want it or need it....

I didn't think you guys were gonna make it for another run. That getting sideways crap at 70 MPH on my 3rd run was a little scary and that was with almost no rain. I think by the time I turned my helmet in at the booth it was coming down pretty good.

Turnpike was ugly but it only set me back about 20 minutes so I didn't freak out too much. If I hadn't broke 12's it would have been a different story.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Dan
