Q on FastAir

I would appreciate it if Sal or anyone with a FastAir can answer this for me:

How is the airbox mounted/supported under the hood? It appears that one end of the airbox goes into the opening in the fender, but is that it or does the airbox sits on the OEM airbox supports?

Just wants to make sure before placing my order.

The FASTair box sits where the OEM airbox was. The end towards the fender does not actually go into the hole. The hose comes through the hole, and attaches to the box. That end of the box sits on the factory airbox "shelf", and has foam rubber under it to protect what it's sitting on. The other end of the box with the MAF on it, uses our PSP filter kit support bracket. This is the bracket that is used in our filter kit, which supports the MAF, boot and filter assy, instead of it just hanging there. If you already have our filter kit, then you have the bracket. If you are using a JDM or JL filter kit, then you need to order the support bracket with it.

You can look in my signature under Install Pictures and see some of the FAST air kit. I have installed or had ALL of the Fresh/Ram air kits out there and the only one that is supported well is the FAST air. Im not talking filter kits, im talking Fresh/Ram air kits.

Another nice feature is the Tubing, it can be moved around some to meet your individual truck needs. My 22in rims are around 30.5 overall dia and my "OTHER" kits use to rub it hard. The FAST Air can be moved around some to allow for proper clearance.

Thanks for the info guys. I also didn't like the idea of the filter just hanging there (Probably nothing wrong with it, I'm just picky... ) and wasn't too thrilled with the brackets provided by the other tuners. I guess this could be exactly what I'm looking for...

Sal, what's the best email address to get ahold of you? I have some chip related questions that I would like to get your inputs...
