Any info on the C&L 95 mm MAS kit? 30 RWHP!?!
No chip. With the chip they claim 40+ hp. The air/fuel graph looks pretty lean though. If they started out with a stock L, the air/fuel graph for that is not right. They are supposed to be a lot richer than that.

C&L meters are notorious for causing you to go lean. Read some of the Mustang boards, and you will learn about alot of the products that have been out for them sometime now, are being marketed to the Lightning crowd.

RPM Outlet makes lots of outrageous power claims--such a 14 HP for a MAC "cold air" filter, which does nothing but draw hot air from the engine compartment, and 24 HP for a MAC exhaust.
I don't trust a word of it.

They may also be talking about gross figures on a 99 or 2000 test vehicle(80 mm) Just the increase in MAF size from an 80 to a 90 is worth 5-10 alone! This makes it seem even better than it really is.
Well i have a 2oo2,and when mine was new it went like a 9.14(1/8th).Then i tried the c&l kit,meter,chip,filter,and it went a 8.60.
Then i put a 4# pulley, and it goes 8.28@85mph,now grated the truck had more miles,an the temp changed from 85degrees,to about 65,id say that was a good gain anyways, but i am a newbie to the lightning stuff.Plus i got a pretty good deal on the kit, seeing how c&l performance is only about 25 miles from here.....Do you guys know of any better combo?

true blue 2k2,
By purchasing a complete kit with chip, you don't know which of the parts actually supplied the most gain. As others have mentioned, the chip probably gave you the most. It's unlikely the mass air kit by itself would gain 30+ hp or show that much of an et gain. Many have done the airbox modification themselves along with a chip and are probably experiencing as much, if not more gain as you have.
