Found a way to get more power
A friend of mine has a 2000 Lightning. Unfortuneitly he is confined to a wheelchair, He drives with hand controls like myself, his hand controls are hooked to the throttle body inturn allowing hi, to pull the throttle open more i guess were as mine hook to the gas petal and brake pedal.

but the only way he could get more throttle opening with a hand-control is if his throttle wasn't opening all the way before. The throttle body has a 'stop' on it so you can't 'over open' the throttle plates.
