Question Steering wheel....

Has anyboy noticed their steering wheel making a slight creek or clunk sound when you first start to turn it???? I don't mean power steering pump noise or the front end clunk that alot of us have or had. Just a slight little noise when you first turn the wheel. Just curius because my L does it, but my other 2000 F150 4x4 ORP does not. I also didn't seem to notice it on my friend's 01' L. Any info is greatly appreciated.....

I have noticed the same thing in my 2001, it almst feels as if the steering wheel holding nut is not tight, I have done a double take several times and tried pulling on the wheel thinking it is loose. My baby is in storage right now so I will have to wait till spring to bring it up at the dealer.

Yea,

My Lightning made a noise onthe odd occasion were it sounded like there was a piece of plastic or a screw busted off in there. So, one day another driver wanted to see if there really was something busted off and I had a look at the airbag.

Bluelightning.... What a horrible picture. One thing you never wanna see is your favorite vehicle all smashed up.
