Question Anyone?

Anyone ever cured the "clunk" by lowering your truck?

I have an '02 and it clunked every time I got in it. I dropped it a couple of weeks ago with a GF 1"/2" kit and it hasn't clunked since.

Go figure.

Lowering it will not elimnate the clunk. The frame is slotted where the lower control arm bolts on. Herb's washers or welding are about the only positive way to elimnate it.

Ditto. It's only because the front end was tightened up after lowering. It'll happen again.
