I left my office about 6pm this evening. The office is about 15-minutes from town. Just down the road from my office is a 2-mile straightaway! I mean everyone takes their cars, trucks and bikes out there to see what they can do. Well the sun had set and I was feeling a bit brave. I was in the 2002 True Blue "ONLY ONE IN TOWN" laid a bit or rubber and before I knew it I was over 115-mph, from the corner of my eye I say what looked like someone with their hood up just off the road and the hood light on, it indeed was and it was a County Sheriff. I knew better to keep on truckin and since I have the only True Blue in town surly would be cought.
I decided to pull the truck over, and the cop never came, still didn't come, nothing. I decided to be in good spirits and see if maybe he did need a hand, and he did. He asked what the hell I was doing, I told him "Warming up the tires a bit" He said you stupid fool, you could get someone killed, I knew better to respond back.
The cop, "SGT. Johnson" his name was said that he radioed in my truck and there would be cops waiting at the end of the road "This road has one way in, one way out"
because I was honest and did see if he was alright, he radioed back and said it was a tahoe, not a truck. I'm going to have to learn to be mare careful, but since my 99-DOHC truck is junk, I'm kind of just bashing the 02 for a bit.
