But the L has yet to be beat by a ricer... then again, I haven't raced a Supra!

i hate to admit it, but i did, i dont know what it was, look like a toyota or a lexus design (night time) i beat him from 45mph floored to about 80mph. but we started at a light, and we only race for a little more than an 1/8th mile and he was about by 2 car lengths at one time, but towards the end i got up another car length, so if we would have gone a whole 1/4mile who knows?

i say i lost.... even though i probably could of won

I worry about the embarrassment of leading by four trucks, blowing a spark plug and losing by two.

Recently I lost to an IS300 (13.8) to my 17.0 and a TT supra (12.9) to my 16.2 at the track. But I was having problems so I am gonna chalk it up to that.

Oh when I was 18 I had a '74 GTO in which I had just replaced the cam the day before. I raced a kid in a civic the next night and blew the motor. It was a long cold walk to the nearest pay phone. I really miss that car

I lost to a NEON on a 70mph roll, he "inched" me instead of pulled...

Did I mention I was pulling a steel flatbed trailer with my Merkur XR4Ti on it? I might have done better if I could've dropped the 150lbs of tools in the bed.

neighbors got a supra

neighbor at the lake has a black supra with a single turbo running 18lbs with a stand alone fuel management system and a triple disc clutch, dynoed at 525RWHP, with a good driver it will run low 10's. Never raced it but have seen him take off from a stop, unbelievable!

damn, Id like to see a 10 sec run by anything in person. That has to be very impressive to see up close. I havent ever really messed with ricers to date, I really wanna race a Vette.. I would love to take down one of Chevy's flagships in a big way. I did have a little run with a WRX on the way home once... I was ****in around and he didnt seem to be able to keep up with even that. I think I'll save my gas for now anyway...

My buddy took his 80's Z car to the track last Friday when I went. He ran an 11.47 @ 122mph to my 11.86 @ 113. I was hoping to give him a better race than that. Hard to beat a lightweight aerodynamic 6 cylinder car with 30lbs of boost though.

I also have a friend I know from my old Supra days. His Supra runs high 6s in the 1/8th mile, mph in the in the 100s mph somewhere. Haven't raced him in the L but I think he could take me . My best 1/8th is a 7.54.

There is also a local Talon believe it or not that runs 7.0s in the 1/8th. Haven't raced him either, nor do I want to.

Not rice, but an heavily modded Audi A4 beat me when I had 2 of my friends in the truck. It was cool watching the flames fly out of his exhaust when he shifted - sounded cool too.
