i am by no means an expert (just ask around)

but, wouldnt you need the torque from the 5.4 instead of the cobra 4.6. these trucks are real heavy and the torque is what does so much.

does that sound right?

Dude, I know the felling of asking the tuners about their products of course they'll tell you everything is honkey dorey instead I think you should talk to the owner of the current and first Marauder S made by Kenny Brown to see whats up and to see what options you should opt for and stay away from if your woman makes her mind and decides to go with the Big Black Panther!

The owner of the current Kenny Brown Marauder S can be found on: mercurymarauder.net he goes by the screen name: mensrea Very nice guy... he was going to post times on the track but a small family emergency prevented him from going... he'll go soon, and have the #'s ready, thats what Kenny is waiting for.

Good Luck!

Oh and if I may add... Your wife got good taste in cars!

Funny this should come up, and that I missed it for a few days, I've been asked to build a tranny for one of these that's getting a blown 6.8L V-10 as a concept car (for a tuner, not for Ford) I told them I'd do it, but I get to drive it when it's done!

Did any of you guys see last months MM&FF? There is a marauder with an '03 Cobra engine in it. Very impressive numbers and it still looks completely stock. Check it out if you get a chance.

My wifes 97 Vic is no where near a Marauder. But I can eat rice! It's got 4.10s, detroit true trac, shift kit, tuned chip, duals, underdrives, ect...

You ought to see the looks I get sometimes. It's priceless to see kids faces when a middle aged, half bald guy driving a grandpa looking car walks them by 2 car lengths off the line, then on the 1-2 shift the tires give off a huge bark as I jump them another full car length.

I kid you not. They look like this :o

At the track I've cut consistant 2.2 60fts and high 9s in the 1/8th.

STOCK INTERNALS
For a ~$17k package, I'd think the internals would be beefed up. Air to water cooler would be nice (better) too. Although that might be more tricky.

No an air-to-air is not as good as a liquid-to-air.

Unfortunately the Maruder is HISTORY ... It
will be produced no more except to fill the
"on Order" orders.

Should make the ones on order and deliver
a bit more precious ...
