I have the Hotchkis ones.

I like them, 1¼" in the front and 2" drop in the rear. Harsher/firmer ride but more controled, slightly less body roll.

Alot of the same can be said about the Roush, except I believe it lowers a little more then the Hotchkis.

I got 2/2 out of my roush kit (or there abouts).

Definately a stiffer ride....I'll have to have Pete ride with me someday to see if its stiffer then Hotch.

I will be able to tell you all the differance between the Roush vs the Hotchkis when I get my truck back from NJ. I am getting the Hotchkis front springs removed and putting in a set of roush front springs.

I have not been happy with the Hotchkis, they are way to stiff, with the QA1's it is ok, but still not to my liking.

I will let you all know soon.

Mmm, Don, I've been told the ROUSH springs are stiffer then Hotchkis...

I know mine are stiff as hell.

My truck dropped a TON with the roush kit. Looks VERY nice, functionality wise i am able to take MUCH faster turns and ride is very good.

No downsides to teh kit from me, except its too much fun and my brakes are showing it.

Don,

When did you get your springs/coils from Hotchkis?

Vote for Roush

I don't have a Lightning, but I have the Roush package on a SuperCrew. I love it!! It's stiff, but it corners on rails and handles awesome!

Don't know 'bout Hotchkis, never had anything from them.

I have never ridden in a truck with the Roush but I had the front coils and rear leaf Hotchkiss springs and I will say this... the front drops about an inch and rides a little stiffer than stock and the rear lowers about 2.5 - 3 inches and its stiff as hell. I was very disappointed with the lack of balance in the front and rear springs. I have an 01 with the Bilsteins and never switched to different shocks but it was too harsh in the rear for me. I swapped the stock rear leafs back in with the shackles and it rides much better now... only problem is that it sits at least an inch higher in the rear now and it looks like there is too much rake. The guys I have consulted with that have had both like the Roush much better because it give a softer balanced ride... it is a bit lower so watch those curbs and speed bumps. Hope this helps!
