Ya it is safe and sound.
I want to make sure I can run at NHRA tracks so it is getting a roll bar installed. Then it will be getting a few more go fast mods.

I just picked up the winter beater today.

Who ever said Don had good common sense or anybody else here for that matter. I got a 30K pickup truck thats sits in the garage for weeks at a time while I drive a beater around!

Something like THIS wouldn't appeal to you at all then. Right?

LOL
That was last years winter beater

Both of them are my parent's summer vehicals. They live in Florida 8-9 months of the year, and come up to Cape Cod in the summer.

When my mother got into the van this past summer she was amazed at how much better it ran, and looked when I was done with it. So this year my father asked me to drive his this winter.

I love my parent's but they don't know how to take care of a vehical, When I picked up the Sebring I looked at the oil change sticker, it was only 2000 miles overdue for a oil change. Last winter the 95 van had the origional fuel filter, and trans fluid in it. and the oil was like molasses.

Since they are free to use I don't mind doing the maintance, and detailing them for the rents.
