Drag Wheels for Slicks

I believe I have decide to go ahead and get some Hoosier 28x10x16 slicks for the Lightnings.

I was wondering what wheels everyone one is running. I am needing to know the size, spacing, price and where you bought them.

At this time I am leaning toward the Weld XP Prostars.
Thanks in advance for any help.

I ordered my pro stars a while ago . They should be here before the end of the month. I'll post a picture of what they look like with the hoosier 28x10x16 mounted.

Hoosier should have their 28 x 11.50 x 16 Quick Time Pro's available this week. They are DOT approved. Hoosier said the traction should be just as good as the 28 x 10 x 16 Drag Tires.

I hope to get my set by the end of this week. They were supposed to be ready to ship a couple of weeks ago, but they had to make some other tires.

I've got some Ultra Type 50/51 rims waiting on my tires.

Cool

HI!... Where are you guys getting info and pricing on the new HOOSIER tires? I'm just curious. I've been to the HOOSIER site many times and there is NO mention of these new tires. I'm very interested in reading some material on them but can't find any. Also, is anyone else having problems trying to get access to "WELD RACING's" website? Everytime I go to it, it says it does'nt exsist? Thanks for any light you guys can shed on this. I just installed a 2400 stall converter and traction is a MAJOR problem now. I need slicks and some DOT sticky street tires and both those HOOSIERS sound PERFECT for me.
