suggestion

My suggestion is go for BellTech 2" shackle at rear. If you want the full 3/4 drop it will ruin ur stock Bilstein shock after 3k-5k. Thats from my experience. DONT GET THE NITRO SHOCKS FROM BELLTECH!! They r crap!
Im using QA1 but they r pricey.
I have BellTech 2" front springs and 2" rear shackles.
US$320 for the BellTech kit and installation.

Hope this helps!

hey im 19 and bought my own lightning...with my own doe...and boy am i regreting it, but hey! i have one badass truck!!!
but i also have a barrage of other vehicles...but i do make definitly more than 6.75 try a temp agency, that way you can find a nice office job paying 11, and if the company likes you thell take you permanent. thats what my wife did.

thats my suggestion

Well shackles you can do yourself without much difficulty. And they are not that expensive. They will lower the rear to give the truck the leveled look, if you like that. Really if you go more then a 1/2 drop the stock shocks are going to get warn out quicker, more $$$

My suggestion:
Get a K&N panel filter and cut holes in the bottom of the airbox.

Check the classifieds for used stuff, you can make out with some really good deals.

Click on that search button and do alot of reading, because if you don't have much money to work with you want to make you mods count!

my vote goes towards the filter as well for now....or maybe start off small? filter kit, 2 inch drop shackles, and a nice head unit? it all depends on how much you have to work with exactly

and i hear ya about the money bro. just turned 19 two weeks ago and boy...i got a lotta catching up to do to some of the old timers on this site

here are my list of mods: http://www.purduelife.com/cars.html
