Looking for opinions on replacing front of L

I hit a giant piece of tread off of a big rig a few weeks ago while driving on the freeway. It took out the lower grille and the scratched up the front bumper cover. The body shop gave me an estimate of $2200 to replace the bumper, lights, and intercooler. I will probably buy the parts myself and install them. Here is my question...Please correct me if I'm wrong, is that the intercooler sitting right behind the lower grille? If it is should I replace it with the new unit from JDM so you can see it? The stock unit got badly bent out of shape. Right now the only mods I have are a boost bypass and Filter from JDM. Thanks for the input, any is appreciated. T

Yep that is the i/c heat exchanger behind the lower grill, the new jdm heat exchanger would keep things cooler, id compare prices with that of a new one from ford. The cover comes off pretty easy

1 st, take off black plastic cover under hood that covers rad. and goes to upper grill
Then take off side marker lights
Take all black screws that hold on upper grill surround I think there are around 12
Then on the bottom the upper grill there is two clips push those in and pull upper cover off.

Ok now the bumper cover on either side there and three black screws in the wheel well one is on the bottom so get on the ground and look up.
Then there is a rubber air deflector that goes from the I\c to the cover take that off.
Now the tricky clips, on the upper part of the cover, there are black plastic push clips that hold it to the metal bumper there are four even spaced across the top of the cover find those and pull the middle part out and the base will come out next.

After all is loose pull on one side of the cover at the wheel well and should slip off

I had an aftermarket grill 150
Cover 320-350??
I paid or paint 250
I\c???

Way less than 2200

After it’s off should look like this

i did it to

By all means replace the intercooler heat-exchanger with the JDM one, if you have to replace the factory unit because of the hit to the front end.
