Ford has announced that Mike Zevalkink has been appointed executive director of a new group within the Ford empire called the "Ford Performance Group"or "FPG". He has been with Ford since 1972 and was team leader in the redesign of the 94 Ford Mustang. This new group has been charged with expanding the array of performance vehicles, parts and services offered by Ford. Under Mike's leadership, Ford will be combining the strengths of SVT, Ford Racing Technology, and Ford's Vehicle Personalization organization. The FPG's role is to design, develop, and market performance parts, products and services to become the industries most comprehensive performance product and marketing operation.
