Just the words "TYPE R" ???

or is there a logo for that? if there is, please post it. or tell me where I can find it.

I know what ya mean about names....using my RL name (as in my username, 1st initial, lastname) doesn't seem quite as cool as an "RTKILLA" And I can't think of anything cool to go along with a SuperCrew so I am just gonna do the Ford logo script and '100 YEARS' on top and bottom of it it'll look cool for me.

maybe a big pig head with it's mouth open...that'd fit with a gas-hog supercrew.

I can do it. I have a CNC machine. I would need an outline file in vector format like dxf, autocad, etc. Send me some picks of the back side of the plate, so that I can think about the fixture. I have bits that go down to 1/64th of an inch, but I don't think that I would want to go down smaller that 1/8th inch. (those bits are real expensive). It wouldn't be engraved, but CNC cut! Now that I look at the pics I can probably go pretty small with the "side angled" as the pics kind of show.

Air1kdf,

WE GOTTA TALK - you sound like da man to discuss having this done. What I've found out from engravers, is that most of it will be just outline...the leters can only be outlined, and not cut-away, like the images would suggest.

Your method sounds to be the way to have it done. Email me at

bartraboin@yahoo.com, so we can discuss pricing and other requirements for you to be able to do this...... Thanks!

cyntaxx -

I'll get a L bolt posted in a few.

Your $ sign is up....I created a gallery to host these instead of taking up my small amount of webspace...you can see them all here:

I found a guy to do it for me,

www.billetandacrylic.com

they said that as long as the surface is flat he can do mine for me the way you have it shown on that picture which has me all excited.

So Mines on the way to get done by him!

yeah, I've been in contact with that guy too....he said similar info, only that their engraving would not, 'cut out' the large darker areas like on my '100 YEARS' design. the letters would be outlined, instead of milled out.

I'm interested to talk to air1kdf some more...up above he says he has a cnc machine.. not sure of the difference between engraving and CNC machined, but I think that it means it's milled out, so it'd look more like the photoshop images, instead of just being outline-engraved..

AIR1KDF - let us know!

RTKILLA - what door did you end up getting? brand/URL etc?

TZR - your door image is in my gallery, see the link above.

I just got the one from ford parts online, its the mustang one. Its the same one that JDM sells but I don't care to comment anymore about that. Ford parts sent that out yesterday so its on the way and should be here friday for me.

I just did one of my friends truck and it wasn't as hard as people say they are. Just a little shimming with some washers but it was no big deal.

I can't wait to get that bad boy on my truck though!

hey rt, is there any drilling of holes for the door? or any cutting or anything? do you have a pic of the door you are getting?

i'm not too fond of a big chrome blob on the side of the truck, but painted black with chrome screws maybe, that would be pretty cool.

no cutting with the one I did. I don't have a pic but there pretty much all the same look. I was going to get mine high polished to if possible. I was thinking about painting my red also, but I'm not sure now?
