I'm looking for pics of the 03 Lightning preferably in Sonic Blue. I'm going to be ordering one within the next few weeks and wanted pics before I do. I know they changed the rims on the 03's which from what I've seen I'm not that crazy about but I'll prob. just buy the 02 Wheels and then sell the 03's. But any pics you can find and post for me is greatly appreciated.

damn them lightning's just keep getting more wheel well gap and more wheel well gap dont they?

99-00 were good, then they made 01-02 which all of us 01-02 owners know, you must get shackles at least, now the 03 is even higher. what the hell, i think the towing capacity is fine....... why do they keep increasing....

 

It's not for the towing capacity.....it's for the bed carrying capacity

You're getting one in Jan??? WTF I was told by the dealer that the earliest I would see one would be March 6. How are you getting one so early? I'm going to wait till the first of the year to order mine but I need to decide on what color.

I have yet to see an SB L, the color on the SVT site that is posted here is True Blue. SVT is currently updating the site, and when you first bring the L up, you have your color choices, however, the SB on the site if EXTREMELY inaccurate. Go to your local dealer and find a Mustang in the color and use your imagination.

It is mostly blue, but has some purple in it, slight mettallic, looks real good in sun, gets darker and more purple with cloud cover and night.

So should I order Sonic Blue or Mineral Grey?

 

if it looks anything like the Cobra's I would order the Sonic Blue. They look really wicked at night.

 

I went to the ford dealer today and talked with the salesman. He is going to send the brochure as soon as it is available. I need a side by side pic of the sonic blue vs. Mineral Grey. The dealer had a Sonic Blue SVT Focus and a Mineral Grey Mustang but I'm not sure which to get. The Mineral Grey has such a unique look but with Zaino the Sonic blue will have more depth.
