scott: a) it's THEIR site. they can do what the want. you don't like it? go somewhere else. except if everyone doesn't like it and everyone goes somewhere else...then..
b) it's trolls like you that make it worse for everyone else. we come on this board to shoot the sh** and get advice, information, and have intelligent conversations. sure we all rub each other the wrong way sometimes but to come in and shoot your mouth off without anything productive to say doesn't help the situation at all.

Here's the deal.
I was banned for showing pictures of the carbon fiber dash kits and wouldn't belly up the money to be a contributing vendor. Plain and simple. Did it mainly on principal. I remember the days that this site was about the trucks and not about the $$$.
That's changed.
If Steve or Doug want to make people think that they were insulted or threatened by me, don't even think it. Anyone that knows me knows that's extremely out of charactor and they are just trying to tilt the scales of justification in their favor. I'm suprised and insulted that they would stoop to that level.
I had entertained pleading my case with the almighty webmaster, but after that personal attack, I've got better things to do with my time.

Nobody said that Rich threatened or insulted us. In fact, those that actually read this thread can clearly see that Doug stated that Rich was banned for violating our vendor policies. He was given the opportunity to become a Supporting Vendor. He declined and continued to break the rule anyway.
Ok, let's see. In this thread:
1) Rich admits that he understood and broke the rules and subsequently shoved it in our face by doing it "mainly on principle" and continues to yammer on that this site is all about making money and politics. HE ADMITS HE BROKE THE RULES.. VOLUNTARILY. And people still think WE are at fault for enforcing our rules. Do you see the attitudes and arrogance we deal with?
And, he continues to snub us, breaking the same rules. Am I going to look the other way just because people like Rich, when PSP, JL, JDM, Mike Troyer, etc. help defray the costs of operating this site for that benefit. HELL NO. IMHO, that shows far more integrity than just letting it slide.
2) dscottl, a new user, coincidentally enough from Florida, makes his first post in this thread and whines about freedom of speech. Was he banned? No, not yet because I would like to see where his logic is going? As Sal so well stated, there is no freedom of speech on this site. Everyone agreed to the rules and if you violate the rules, we take appropriate action.
Some of you will believe all of the bull**** coming out of Rich's mouth. If you do, I feel sorry for you. You now know of a site where "anything goes" and you can say whatever you want without fear of losing your posting rights or being encumbered by the control of the allmighty webmaster. If that attitude is more to your liking, might I suggest heading over to F L A S V T . C O M so the virus won't spread any further over here. We're sick of dealing with you.

And once again, after acknowleding he broke the rules again, he attempts to re-register as TampaSVTIsBack this morning. For those that can read, here is a part of our rules that everyone agreed to that we take very seriously:
What's the next step if this kind of childish harassment continues? Well, I could visit ARIN.NET and see who owns the IP address he registered from and contact them. I don't plan on doing that yet. Hopefully he will just grow up and go away.
Additionally, if for some reason your posting rights are revoked for violation of these terms, any action taken on your part to re-register using additional email addresses and screen names will be interpreted as harassment, resulting in our contacting your ISP and if required, local law enforcement authorities immediately.

I guess it really is OK to list that other site here, huh? BTW, you should try to keep up to date on the forums you speak about. Especially when they no longer exist...
