Ultimate Handling and Traction Setup - What would you get?

I have enough power to hold me over for a while so now I want to work on handling and traction. Here is what I have in mind:

Hotchkis Sway Bar Kit
Correct Sized Endlinks
Panhard Bar
Shocks - Undecided on Which ones

What do you think? What would your list look like?

Thumbs up Suspension

In terms of shocks, there is an informative thread going on right now, which includes all the heavyweights who know what they are talking about when it comes to suspension modification.

Its under this section, entitled "For the Pros/Tuners: Bilstein vs. QA1"

I learned alot from those guys!

You are on the right track. Don't forget springs. A Rancho style traction bar will probably be your best bet.

You are on your way to increased handling (although I would go with Roush or Hotchkis springs and leafs), but these mods will do nothing for traction.

The QA1 shocks can help at the drag strip, as they allow you to easily adjust the rears to 1 and the fronts to 12 to help with weight transfer.

You will want to get some traction bars. While they will help with the launch, the bigger benfit is keeping the driveshaft from breaking due to excessive axle wrap.

I have the full Hotchkis setup. Many people around these parts have suggested that the springs are a much greater improvement that the anti-sway bars, so Iif I had to choose just one, I would go with the springs. Stiffer springs will also help reduce sway.

That is very nice, but I have to say, watch out for putting the rears at 1.

This whole summer I set the rears to 1 and had no problems. After the weather got cooler and the truck started making more power I found that setting 1 was way to soft. On my 1-2 shift the whole back end would just come out from under me cause me to get of the gas to re-gain control. Not fun when going down the strip, plus it really hurts you times.

Anyway I bumped the rears up 3 or 4 and the problem went away.

Note this was done on stock F1's with low/mid 20's for tire pressure.

The Ground Force front coils are pretty near stock rates and the rear leafs are, of course, stock. I think you would get much better results from stiffening up the springs than by adding the Hotchkis anti-sways.

I have a comparison of the suspension options on my Web site.
