Confused weather if i NEED a dual program chip...

Hey im shane i have a 2000 Lightning with a Diablo chip now and a 4# lower and I love it... my question is i'm getting detination when the weather gets below 40 degrees here in Chicago. Do i NEED a safer program to run in the colder weather if i store my car in the winter? I was recamend if i ever take it out, leave it how it is and run higher octane fuel if i wanna take it out on a cold day. That makes sense rather than buying a dual program chip, i just would rather pay a little more now and have 2 programs. Can i get some advantages of having 2 programs and if so what 2 programs can i run... Thanks, Shane

Advantages of multiple chips or multi program chips:

1- Having the right program for your weather
2- Not having to worry about additives or high octane gas when its cold, they both can be hard to come by at times
3- Having a softer tune for the street, and having a hard tune to play with
4- Your not running at max power ALL THE TIME!
