Drag Racing at Hallsville, TX (12/7)

Some of us guys in Texas are putting together a little end of the year program at Hallsville, Texas on December 7th. Winter hours are 11AM-7PM. Here's the scoop.

The track owner will run a Lightning-Only bracket class for us on December 7th. Cost is $15 for racers, $10 for spectators. My proposal is this:

$10 trophy fee (total cost will be $25 to race in the program).
Trophies for 1st-4th place.
Trophy for best reaction time (during competition only).
Trophy for best ET (during competition only).

Gates open at 11AM for test-n-tune. Each driver is responsible for his own dial in. Dial-ins may be changed from round to round. First round buy-backs available for $10.

Hallsville is an exceptionally well run track and consistantly provides great 1/4 mile times. With a little cool weather, this could be your last chance to set a new personal best for the year.

Let me hear from you if you are interested. Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.

John,

I'm hearing that the ICCB finals are on December 7. I thought that was supposed to be over by Thanksgiving and was counting on a good Halo turnout. Anyway, feel free to tell those Halo guys that don't do the ICCB thing to come on. Gonna be a lot of trucks and a well prepared track.

Cool weather = new personal bests.

Yes it should. I will be hunting for "Moonshines." I think I will be driving home with someone strapped to my hood!
