For the Pros/Tuners: Bilstein vs. QA1
Ok so QA1's are going in for sure.
I have another question.
The new endlinks should be shorter than the stock ones by the amount of drop that I have dialed in correct?
Can I get both the front and rear links from you Stan as well?
Thanks once again!

Some where on my one web page has some endlink info:

Oh yeah, and that panhard bar...... Nice Rollcenter and bind sweep!

Sometimes you're quite the pistol! I'm puzzled why you had to take a cheap shot, though.
Can you provide technical information showing that the stock Bilstiens are better than the QA1's on a modified suspension?
Regarding the other shocks you mentioned, Did you read my comments in this recent thread that you started?
Bilstein Questions
I propose you try the others and report the results.
Roll center and bind? Old discussions. Maybe you missed them. The roll center "is what it is" with the Stan's panhard bar. Having the bar helps more that not having one, but only at the track (IMO).
I calculated and measured the bind and compared it to video of the actual axle movement. The outcome is that the the bind is negligible becuase the slop is greater. I could re-post the actual deflection caused by the arc of the bar, but since you brought it up, it would be more fun if you posted it.
The ball is in your court.

Because of there adjustability can I assume that I can adjust the shock into a range that would be good for drag racing or does that require different valving than what you sell.
Thanks Dale

I can vouch for Stan's statement on the Factory 10-up Bilstiens. On stock suspension they are adequet, but with stiffer springs they plain suck. I installed them when I first did my Hotchkis springs and they were ok for about 2-3 weeks of street driving. After that I could feel them getting worse by the mile. Very little rebound dampening. I have done an extensive amount of research looking for shocks. At this time the best bang for the buck is the QA1's. At the price is no object level you can get into Penske's for about $700/ea. The big difference is the QA1 is adjustable for compression only. The adjustment does have a small effect on rebound but not a specific adjustment. The Penske is adjustable for compression, rebound and extension/hold. Each tunable separately. Complete overkill for a street driven occasionally tracked vehicle.
Bad,
The QA1's can be dialed in for drag racing as well as some twisty work. Soften up the rear and stiffen the front will help with bite off the line.
