I cant get the dealer to give me a price or delivery date for my 2003 L. I got it on x-plan. I have been told that production starts Dec 2nd. I'm hoping to have the VIN # before Jan 1st b/c my Ford credit card dollars expire then. What have you guys heard as far as price (x-plan) or dates??? Thanks.

 

Metro Ford in Calgary, Alberta is getting the first of there 03 stock shortly before Christmas My 03 will be in for me on my Birthday March 30 (my gift to myself) It will be Sonic Blue.

 

I have a black one ordered but the dealer does not have any info as of delivery date. How did you get your info bluelightning? They are not going to start building them until DEC 2nd. Let me know if yall hear anything different.

 

Oh and I also did the x plan thing and they said price w/ tonneau cover would be 29800 or there abouts. Hope this helps.

 

I was told:

MSRP= 33,790

X-Plan = 29,662

86T Tonneau Cover: MSRP $240 Invoice $204

86U Bedliner: MSRP $295 Invoice $251

Price with bed liner and tonneau cover = 30,119

I wasn't given any dates though, other then Dec. 2 as the production date. I hope this helps.

I don't have any more info than ya'll do. Mine is on order, but has not been assigned a VIN, so other than the job 1 date, I am in the blind, price has been agreed upon, but not as the Plan program, I'm just Joe Consumer.

 

I've got a gray '03 on order and have the same info as you. 12/2 for job 1 with no firm scheduling.

 

I've got 5 '03 Lightnings on order (not really, but my dealership ordered 5 of them and two of them have my name on them). I don't know he price, but I don't expect to see one before late january at the earliest.

Thanks for all of your replies. I am really in no hurry to get the L. The weather is only going to get worse, I just hope we can get a VIN# before year-end for the credit card company so I dont lose all my Ford Credit dollars...

My dealer called me today and said he saw the schedule and the 03 L should be delivered late December. It's a little hard to believe, but I've delt with this guy for a while so we'll have to see..
