Angry More Autometer Problems!!

I'm fed up and need to let off some steam. Ok, I finally decided to get the 3 guage pillar and install some nice Lunar series autometer gauges...i had the air/fuel in for about a day and a half, when the meter decides it doesn't want to work anymore, the indiglo works, but not the important part. Of course i threw out the box, why not, it was working. The boost guage's indiglo decides it doesn't even want to work right out of the box, so being "mr. fixit" I cut open the rubber holding the wires together to see what the problem is. Ah ha! There's a resistor in there! It must be bad! I get power before it anf right after it so i'll just get a new resistor....right. I got a brand new resistor with the same resistance and.......it still doesn't work. The guage works but not the indiglo.. What am i goin to do???? All my boxes are in the garbage and one of my gauges is now tampered with......Please help...

If it was me, i would have RMA'd that no working lighted gauge back to autometer. Its most likely the inverter that failed. They dont use any sort of bulbs.

As far as your A/F.. Did you check to see if the wire came loose from the gauge or down by the o2 sensor? If you crimped it, its a good possibility it came undone or water got in there.

you f'd-up cutting it open. But call autometer anyway, they are a pretty-standup company in my eyes.
