Line-Lock Mounted
Line-Lock Mounted
Just roughed out my Line-Lock mounting bracket and thought I would share with everyone. Check out my gallery under suspension.
The basics of it are this. I used a 3/16 thick aluminum plate. Notched it and drilled it to match the factor master cylinder mounting studs. I then mounted the line-lock solenoid to the plate. The factory M/C studs are plenty long enough so I slipped the plate on and added nuts and washers to hold it in place. Still have to plumb and wire it. More on that as I go along. The plan is to remove the factory brake line from the front M/C port. Run a new line from there to the line-lock. The other end of the factory line goes to the ABS and needs to be unscrewed from there as well. The next step is to run a line from the line-lock to the ABS and bleed the front brakes. Couple of wires and it's done. You will need to buy an additional factory brakeline to cannibalize for the fittings. I believe the P/N is YL3Z2234-AA cost about $15.

LOL. Kits should be done soon hopefully. Like I said, I have the brackets here, the wait now is the custom DOT approved stainless braided hoses I'm having made for the kits.
