Belt?

Is there a trick to removing the belt? I've never done it before. Is there a sprung tension pulley or do you pry it off? Any how to's would be much appreciated.

I'm assuming the S/C belt, all you need is 1/2" braker bar or 1/2" equivalent. The belt tentioner has a slot for the 1/2" tool.

Cali L,

Facing the truck look at the tensioner pulley on the SC belt (left). It is on a tensioner arm. Take a breaker bar and pry it to the left. You will notice there is a stop molded in the casting od the tensioner. You can take a large screwdriver and break it off easliy. Makes it easier to remove and replace the bely espacailly when changing lower or upper SC pullies.
