Lightning Grille Emblem

So what is this some sort of secret or something. The emblem I talking about is the one that has a lightning emblem in it. I've asked a few times before about it, but I guess no one gives a sh*t. Well thanks for nothing! You know if someone needed info and I new the answer I would share it! What the f**k thought this was a helpful site for lightning owners, or do you have to be in the click!!!!!!!!!!! As I said before thanks for nothing. Theres some nice looking trucks in this site and I'm sure most of you couldn't have done it without any help from someone else. Believe me after reading some of this ****, I'll bet some of you couldn't go to the bathroom on your own. So whats so hard in helping someone out I notice I'm not the only one .whose new to this scene. you either have the answer and just don't want to share it, Then thats alright to. just let me know Don't leave me hanging. I really would like to get one for my lightning.

P S Sorry to be so crude but I'm rather pissed off right now. This isn't for all of you just a few You say this is a great site.!? Well is it?

Wheres Rodney King when you need him? Jeeeze dude...did ya catch your old lady in the sheets with yer brother or something? I've been in bad moods...but whoa. As far as your Q, the guys with lightning logos on their grills, the round style anyway, just took the orginal ford logo off, took it apart, painted it black, put a small lightning decal on it, and put it back together I believe....you cant really buy them like that. They have to be custom made.

hey badass

the only thing i'd help you with is moving into oncomming traffic. You have a bad ****ing attitude so it's no wonder no one is helping you!!!! You appear to be new to this board, either that or you're posts are low because no one talks to you, it's no wonder why. Here's a little FAQ for ya.

There is no clique, we are all one (except when discussing tuners, caged/uncaged pullies, exhaust....ect)

Second, ,know your role jabroni! You are asking about something that not to many people have any knowledge about. You can't run down to your local napa or ricer parts store and buy these things.

Lastley, if no one posts a reply, here's some advise.....reply to your own posts jokingly to keep it up front so it doesn't get pushed back and people don't see it. Your post could end up on page 3 in one day if it's busy and if someone who has the info comes on and only read's the first page , they don't see it.

You're a lightning owner, don't come one here and be aggressive to us **** head. Go do it on the z06 or extreme board. I know what his problem is guys, he can't seem to find a lightning logo to fit on his Kia Sephia

First. I personally DON'T think your sorry at all and I can personally care less that you are pissed.

Let's see. You could have TTT the post.
You could have used the SEARCH button.
You could have gone into a profile of someone who has one and E-mailed them.
You could have gotten off your HIGH HORSE and asked again.

If I had done this Emblem I personally wouldn't give you the time of the day,but since RUN351(john) did such a nice job he should get credit.
I borrowed this from John until mine is being made up.I am going in a different direction to get the same result.
Then I will give it back to john or give him money for it.Whichever he perfers.

I have seen alot of emblems on the Market and I came up with the idea for the one see on Vinneys truck a few years back.
I originally made my first EMBLEM in 1996 for my truck. I bought an original emblem..we gutted out the original plastic crap and scanned a photo of the Lightning Logo and made a overlay( sort a Decal), then layed it over a matched vinalbacking to my trucks color and poured urethane over like ford does.
Thats the same process that Vinney emblem has, there is NO paint involved. That was the first GEN2 emblem I made for JDM for all the work he did on my truck, but it looks too nice to remove from Vinneys truck.
I also designed the Flamed Lightning/SVT gauges that were a group buy about 1 year ago, I did not profit from all the guages that NUImage sold, I did however get 2 sets of free gauges. differnt from all the others.
my point is if you want something custom done, you may have to do it yourself as I did.
I enjoy these trucks, both 1st and 2nd Gens, and making something custom, like the emblem, that makes them even more special than all the other sporttrucks and knowing I influenced it, is more special than any cash I can get for it.
SO far, there are about 8 first gen emblems and 1 second Gen emblem out there, and I promised a few 2nd Gen guys I know a few.
there is alot of work that go into them, so I am in no hurry.
I just figured I would let you know what I did o some of you can try, and someone will also get the process figured out.

KILLA,
I would say to take your emblem off, get one of the "lightning" overlays like VINNIE has on his truck and put it on your emblem and paint the whole emblem, even the overlay, and then just peel the overlay off when the paint is dry and the light will shine just where the overlay was. Just a thought, don't even know if you will understand any of it.
