Just want to get a head cound of who's gonna make it. I'm planning on leaving around 8am. Anyone wants to meet and ride down? I know the Mustang guys are meetin over in Gwinnett.

Also bring a cooler with some snacks and drinks if you want, no one knows if the concesion will be open.

Atlanta guys, I'll get you there. It's my home track.

Take I-75 South. Below Forsyth at about the 179 mile post, you'll come to the I-475 By-pass. Take it and save 9 miles instead of going thru Macon. Get into the two right lanes for the by-pass.

You'll pick up I-75 at the 155 mile post going South still. Go on until the 149 mile post. This is the Byron exit. Get off(Texaco and Shell are over the interstate to your left.) and turn right onto Hwy 49 South.

Stay on 49 South until you see a Jct. 49 sign(about 9 miles from I-75). Turn right at the Jct. 49 sign. Go for about 3 miles until you come to Hwy 96(NOT 341 which you crossed at the 4-way stop). Turn right onto Hwy 96(now heading West) and it's 9 or 10 miles to Reynolds.

At the first stop sign in Reynolds, turn right and then get over to the left for a left turn 1/2 block away. Turn left onto Hwy 96(West) and go about 1 mile. Just pass the GM dealer, look for a small, lighted billboard on the left. That's the road to SDR. Turn left and go about 1/4 mile and turn right onto the road leading to the gate(bear left).

I'm going down. I don't know where the mustang guys are meeting but we could trail down. I've been several times. But I go thru Forsyth instead of all the way around I475. It's quicker the back way. I'll check this post,let me know. And anyone else,lets do it.

I plan on being there also. The weather is supposed to be COLD and WINDY (hopefully we will have a tail wind and not a head wind!) so make sure and dress warm!

Dan's instructions are good, but in case you forget them just remember all you have to do is get on hwy. 96 and head WEST. The track is on 96 a couple of miles west of Reynolds.
