Just finished the fog light mod, questions...

I just got done makin the ramp and all that good stuff and put it back together. I spliced the wires together to get the parking lights and fog lights to work together, problem is they don't go on together. Did I have to make a opening for that in the ramp also? I don't think I did, otherwise everything works great. Just that one prob.....

I think you spliced together the wrong wires then.

I might be wrong here, but you need to make the RAMP
for all areas BUT the OFF one. (You can even do the OFF,
but then you MUST remember to push it in every time)

This was the first mod most everyone did. Maybe FORD
should take notice? It would be nice to have a JUST FOGS
position, too.

Hell DODGE DOES IT!!! my friend's R/T has the foglight mod from the factory. ARE YOU LISTENING, FORD??? for once, i had to do a mod to "keep up" with an R/T! all I did was splice the #5 and #12 wires together to get foglights anytime the parking lights or manual headlights are on. autolamp setting stays as original.

click on technical articles on the left of your screen...then click on Extending Fog/Driving Lamp Functionality in the 2000 SVT F-150 Lightning... this is where i got the info. good info, but doesnt mention that on a 2001 or newer you have to take out all the screws holding the bottom dash panel on and remove it to get your hand in there to pop out the headlight switch console.
