Since there have been so many posts on the fuel filter I decided it was time to change mine out. Mind you, I don't have a bunch of mods...

2001 "L"... never raced (except for SVT events)... oil changed every 3k miles... got 30,000 miles on it now and had the original fuel filter.

IF YOU HAVEN'T CHANGED IT YET DO IT.

Drove it after I changed the oil/filter and fuel filter yesterday... Granted mid 60's temp and no humidity... nailed it and I couldn't beleive how much stronger it feels. Hit the rev limiter (farted) hit second and through me back in the seat... the seat belt locked up and I had to open the door to get it to release!!!

CHANGE YOUR FUEL FILTERS...
