I didn't get one and there's really no need for it since the mass air is going to notice it anyway.

sometimes my brain dosent work properly. was there more intake noise(I hope)? any negatives on the install?

Well my truck is so loud I didn't really notice an increase, but I'm surre there is

I did not notice anything get louder when I ported the upper intake. I also did not pay any attention though.

No, you do not need to reburn the chip. We keep them in stock at all times if you need one.
