How do you unplug the wires from the coils?

Pain in the butt 1st time aint it.

The release clip is on the bottom of the plug, at the end,
"right where the wires stick out".

Once you get one, you'll see how it is. Pass side first two are a piece of cake, try one of them so you see where the release is.

"The release clip is on the bottom of the plug"

Rob meant the bottom of the connector on the coil pack. Find a pack(#1 cyl--passenger-side, front) is easiest, see the part that sticks out with two wires fitted into it? Take your forefinger and place the tip of it just under where the wires disappear--don't go closer to the body of the pack or you will miss the tab that is under extension--it's right at the end of that pack extension. Press upwards(with your thumb on top of the extension) on the tab and pull outward and the wire connector will release.
