1.71 with only a converter(Epping). Usually I get anywhere b/t 1.74 and 1.80. But I am now putting a lot more power down and have other traction devices. I love driving to the track and not having to change a thing! -Mat-
I have a best of 1.71 in my signature. Made six passes Saturday and worst was 1.748. All on stock converter. Track prep, tire pressure (18 - 19.5 lbs), plus I heat them up for a LONG TIME. Hit the staging lanes at idle, then FLOOR it at the last yellow. Works well for me. Plus I love just driving to the track, letting a little air out, then making my pass. Other L racers have to worry about swapping tires out for Hoosiers or ET streets but I'm cutting near identical 60' times w/o the hassle. Plus they are a necessity on the street with these power levels. Have never put F1s on the rear since I got them. Well worth the money. Those that bash them have not given the effort or are running at poorly prepared tracks. If you heat them up well, they work.

I've got toreplace my F1s soon--38,500 miles on them.
I use my M/Ts at the track now with the F1s on the front. How about putting Nitto 555(street)s on the front with the 555Rs on the rear--for the street and maybe for the track too? I drive mine to work, etc.

Hey Chikin1,
I liked them, My best has been a 1.71 60 ft, but I can't seem to be consistent at my local with them. I think they work pretty darn good on the street, but I'm going with the new Hoosier Quick Time Pro's 28x11.50x16's for the street and strip.
Probably run my Toyo Proxies during the week, and run the Hoosiers on the weekend. Never know when I might want to street race on the weekend, The Hoosiers drag's I've tried before, seem to be pretty consistent on 60 ' Times.

If you want them for the strip they are much better. Do a nice burnout and hook!! However on the street, if they arent HOT, then they arent much better than the F1's. And here in NJ in the fall with cooler weather, I think they are WORSE than the F1's.
I run the Drag Radials on the street with stock rims. When I go to the track I switch to ET Streets. As far as best 60 foot the DRs aren't too far behind. However I seem to be a lot more consistant with the ET Streets.
Chikin1, when are you going to the track with your new setup? I'd love to see your truck run. Do you run at Huntsville Dragway? Is that where ran your 7.39@93mph at? Or was it Baileyton?

I've actually been debating about this myself. I can never get more then 4-5,000 miles out of a set of F-1's anyway. Why not run Nitto's all the time. I've never even researched price. Are they comparable(sp?) with the pricing on the F-1's????
