Plagued by problems at track
Went to the Imports VS Domestics at MIR yesterday and made two runs. Both times my truck shut completely down on me during the run. Both shortly before the 1/8. I could feel the truck loosing power as it would accelerate even though it should have been at WOT then it just died as if the battery was dead. I would coast to the end of the track, stop and restart the truck and everything was fine. The first time I tried racing with the race program on my truck with 110 octane gas (that was the only thing available) and the second time I switched to street mode with the same results. What causes the truck to shut itself down?
Needless to say my times were 17 and 16 respectivley

Clogged Cats for one, boost dump for another, and clogged fuel filter. Stick your hand by the exhaust and have someone rev motor up to 12-1500 rpms and feel the exhaust outlets, any thing coming out?????
all kind of crap comes out, my chip runs really rich in street mode. When I rev on it, condestation spews out, my friend said it was gas, but it didnt smell like anything, so I am assuming it is water. One thing I noticed after using the race mode was what looked like silver particles in the exhust tips. It scared me at first, I thought something broke and was coming out the exhuast, but after checking the oil, it was clean, and the truck runs fine again, so I am guessing not. I've never seen that with the street mode.
I know its not the boost dump, I disconnecting the wire for it. maybe clogged cat since my truck runs REAL rich, it shouldnt be the fuel filter i changed that only about 1000 miles ago or so
I filled the truck back up with 93 today after burning the 110 gas up, and the truck works fine at WOT again! Could this have to do with the 110 octane gas? My chip requires 98+ when in Race mode.

I'm with LDFJR on this one, at least around here 100 is the highest unleaded I have found. 110 is plentiful but only in the dreaded leaded. Cats and O2 sensors do NOT like leaded gas. Hopefully that was the problem and no damage was done.
