Had a chance to go to the local track Saturday. Weather was in the 60's, so it wasn't as good as Norwalk was last week.
I was still able to make a total of 4,12.5 passes. The best part
being that all 4 were at or near 112.5 MPH..
Best ever was last week at Norwalk when I went 12.4 at 109.5..
Were happy now.
Weather looking possible for Sunday November 17 at Norwalk.
Any Ohio or Michigan guys interested?

Congrats on the new mph did you go to 42? I won't be able to make it to Norwalk on the 17th did you get any damage from the storms last night? we got nothing but HEAVY winds and rain (thank God)

Yes, I was at 42. Unbelievably the track was in pretty good shape.
Managed a .500 light in the first round of eliminations in the Gamblers race, but wasted it on a 15.00 second Chevy. The look on his face when I went by him at the 1/8th mile was worth it though. I was off the throttle and on the brakes and still went through the traps at 12.7 but only 90 mph.
Sure you can't make Norwalk?

Nope, I can't do Norwalk....took the Insurance off the L for the winter, and already put it into storage along with the stang, and besides, the guy I borrowed the trailer off of is using it this weeked. I "could" bring the out old cougar and blast off some blazing 20 sec passes but I wouldn't want to show you up I know what you mean about running someone down. While in Columbus with the stang I ran down a station wagon running 19secs.Having to sit at the line for almost 6 secs REALLY REALLY SUCKS!!!!!! but blowing past them near the end is all worth it!! good luck on Sun if you go.
