I need to replenish my zaino supplies, and have always used Z-1 and Z-2. I'm trying to decide if I should get Z-1 again or ZFX. Using Z-1/Z-2 has always been fine with me, and I don't really want to hassle with mixing stuff and cleaning out the bottles.
Is everyone using ZFX or has anyone decided they don't like mixing and stayed with Z-1?

How often are you using Z1? You really don't need to use it more than twice a year.
As far as ZFX, I started using it in the Spring and love it. It's very easy to mix with Z2/5, whatever you're using. It's allowed me to apply 3 coats in 1 day, whereas without it, Sal suggests waiting 24 hrs in between coats. The drying time is minimal (45 minutes tops in the worst of weather conditions). As far as cleaning the 2 oz. bottles afterwards, it's simple. Hot water and some dish soap. Takes a minute or two.
Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

ZFX comes into play for me if i need to do a complete strip, buff and protect. I can lay 3 coats on immediately.
However, im still a big believer in the old fashioned Zaino application. I still use Z1.. I put the lok on, wait for it to DRY and buff it off, despite Sals recommendations. I get better results this way. Then i use 3 coats of Z-5 with ZFX. The following day i use another 3 coats of Z-5 with ZFX. Then, start layering the Z2 weekly without ZFX.

i use the zfx and its great. by the time i'm done applying the polish, i can start buffing it off. when its chilly out like now, and not humid, i use 2-3 drops per ounce, when its humid during the summer i use 4-5 drops of the zfx per ounce. the one little bottle will probably last me for the bottle of z2 and the bottle of z5, so i think its worth it. I like to be able to apply 3 coats in a day and be done with it for a while. I think this spring though, i'll get some z1, and after i dawn wash, claybar, and all that stuff, use the z1, then the z5 and z2 with zfx. can't hurt. but i say go for it. worth it IMO
